Engagement work
Push notification engagement review
A structured review of open rates, tap-through patterns, quiet-hour collisions, and send cadence for one live application.
Who this is for
Product managers, CRM leads, and retention specialists who already send push notifications and need a clear reading of how people actually respond — not a new messaging tool.
What you receive
We examine a recent window of sends from your application analytics, then walk through engagement insights with your team. The deliverable is a findings pack covering:
- Open and tap patterns by daypart, audience segment, and message theme
- Overlap between promotional pushes and quiet hours or sleep windows
- Copy and timing habits that depress return visits
- A short list of experiments ranked by effort and expected lift in engagement
What is included
- Kick-off call to map your notification catalogue and consent prompts
- Review of exportable engagement metrics you already collect
- Two working sessions (ninety minutes each) with stakeholders
- Written recommendations and a ninety-day experiment backlog
- One follow-up call after you run the first experiment
What is excluded
We do not write production copy for every campaign, implement changes inside your messaging vendor, or sell access to software. Engineering changes remain with your team.
How we work
- You share anonymised engagement extracts and a sample of recent notification copy.
- We score send hygiene, frequency pressure, and segment fit.
- We present findings, then refine the experiment backlog with your constraints.
- You leave with owners, measures, and a calendar for the first two tests.
Preparation
Export open and tap metrics for at least eight weeks, plus a list of live notification types. If consent or preference centres changed recently, note the dates so we can separate those effects.
Next step
Request an engagement review and tell us which application and audience matter most.
